The Scenery
Shady Side, Maryland is a small town on the West River and the Chesapeake Bay. Discovery Village is an 8-acre peninsula with a direct view to the Bay Bridge.

OspreyCam Day 2002
The annual tradition at Discovery Village, school children name the baby Osprey chicks and welcome the parents back to their nest.

Blessing of the Fleet
August 10th, 2002 - The tradition was revived as the busiest watermen's creek on the Western shore of Maryland celebrated its working watermen.

Music on the Point
Students from local schools perform outside on the Discovery Village point.
