The Friends of Discovery Village
invite you to join...
The Friends of Discovery Village is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation founded in 2002 to assist in the operation, management, preservation, development and conservation of the Discovery Village eco-park. All volunteers, the Friends donate time and labor and raise funds from individuals, corporate sponsors, and foundations to enhance the park, and its activities. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. The funds donated to the park through Friends help with everything from purchasing supplies and equipment to presenting events such as The Blessing of the Fleet Festival, Music on the Point and the Children's Art Show. Volunteers are always needed to help staff these events or assist by serving on a committee or contributing to the Friends of Discovery Village e-letter which is published bimonthly. Whether you can donate time or money, or both, the Friends cordially invite you to join. Help us preserve, protect and enhance South County's very own jewel of the Chesapeake.
